  • review: Brown 1979. Not sure which show he reviewed, but pin to 4/11/79a. Show was packed. He sounds very skeptical of the Reconstruction enterprise. "zealots … packed the Rainbow Music Hall Wednesday night to see Dead guru-guitarist Jerry Garcia".
  • Contracts clearly provide for two shows a night on the 11th and 12th - no gig here on the 13th, regardless of what your tape may say. Big payday for Reconstruction: $16,000 guarantee plus 65% of gross after taxes over $37k, on gross potential of $44,800.
